Four Fingers is the name of a fishing vessel my father captained in the 90s.
I created this website because I've wanted to share my photographs somewhere that felt more meaningful and genuine to me than instagram. I probably share a similar discontent for social media as other people my age and wasn't interested in anything I posted being used to train AI or continue to endorse Mark Zuckerberg and Meta. I started taking photos at the tail end of quarantine when I found my mom's Pentax Iqzoom, a small, dinky analog point-and-shoot, in my basement. This space is something to hopefully encourage me to take better photos and force myself to write more.
Most photos are taken with my Nikon F3 and sometimes a Nikon D60 or Pentax IQzoom928
