Dad sweeping the Engine Room (2025) - Nikon F3 Kodak Ultramax 400
I showed this photo to my uncle Teak last Summer, he inhaled, tilted his head and exhaled, "yeah that's your father". I don't think this photo conveys how hot and loud it is down there.

Fathoms (2025) - Nikon F3 Kodak Ultramax 400
I became really interested with this very old monitor that told you the depth of the sea floor. So here 53 fathoms is 318ft. The shutterspeed that I shot this at was probably so much faster than it operated hence why half the screen isn't rendered.
Marine Bio people + Gabe photographing the Right Whale (2025) - Nikon F3 Kodak Ultramax 400
This particular trip my dad was taking out 3 marine biologists + specifically a marine mammals guy who came all the way from the West Coast. My dad is talking to him in the wheelhouse while we were starting to head back in and he just - super casually looks up and points out this breaching right whale that was 400yards off the bow as if these things just happened everyday. ~Note to self: bring a big enough lens to photograph whales.
Castaway (2025) - Nikon F3 Kodak Ultramax 400
Sometimes a songbird can get blown all the way offshore miles into the ocean and fortunatly found our boat to rest on. He was so tired and kept hiding when I tried to get him some water. Not to mention he was at the helm when we had spotted that right whale so while all the marine bio people are trying to get shots of one of the most endangered mammals on the planet I was trying to get a picture of this songbird that was just hopping around. When we got back into Woods Hole the next day I saw him fly off, little guy was probably 100s of miles from where he started but he got back to shore atleast. #Geneflow
