DESCR. JOURNAL
I remember after first I got my driver's license and could go wherever is when I first went to Great Island. It's the longest possible hike you could do on the Cape, it's 4 miles from the parking lot to Jeremy Point and possibly farther if you time it right with the low tide. Though 4 miles isn't incredible it's the only truly expansive natural preserve still on the cape, it's hard to find somewhere that hasn't been developed for summer homes yet - so thanks JFK for the nat'l seashore.
